Yes, It's back. I knew following this story was a good idea.

But really, it is nice to see this story progress. While it does not have a lot of "content", it has depth and feels like a fresh take on this story.

One idea, if you're reformatting would be for a suitor to be eliminated after each event/challenge.

I think it would help your story to flesh out more about the missing heir (Hiccup) and what would happen if he was found, who benefits, who hurts etc, what it would mean for Astrid as a future ruler (less or more power).

Also, what about a situation where the contestants have to solve a problem to help the kingdom... like what would they do if there was a food shortage or if there was a plague or if they had to go to war with no weapons etc

About the Toothless/Egil name thing, totally agree with you.

I love that line about a couple of non-traditional vikings, so fitting and hits you in the heart.

I like hearing him called Toothless.

Kudos for adding humor to your story and dialogue. Humor is, at least as I have observed, on of the harder aspects of writing to do well let alone master. While you have not mastered it yet (When does any writer truly master anything?), you nevertheless have a commendable grasp of it and when to use it.

Horror? Let's see here...the majority of the Archipelogo is scared of him, the rest views him as member of their tribe, or an ally. Egil fits. Protection of Thor? This is Toothless we're talking about. He'll tear Thor himself to pieces if it means Hiccup will be safe. Awesome name for Toothless, you did a great job there.
