Since I'm the kind of girl whose secretly has a passionate love for things that are sad and heartbreaking, this is actually my most favorite chapter in this whole book!

This was a great chapter.

OMG, I LOVED this chapter! One really gets the sense of what a beautiful family the inhabitants of the museum are becoming, of how they all get along (or don't, in the case of Dexter and Kumari. Lol) That may be my favorite element of this story so far. :D Thank you for including more of my favorite pharaoh in this chapter! I love how his tablet allows him to talk to animals (that's something I'd love to be able to do!); I wonder what he and Dexter talk about? Lol
I also LOVE all the Sacagawea action you wrote! You really know how to keep her and Teddy in character. Not only is she wise, she's gentle, nurturing, brave... I could go on and on. I'd imagine she and Niki would have a mother-son relationship like the one you describe. Niki shouldn't be afraid to tell her if Alex is picking on him, but I understand his hesitation-the museum's magic must be kept secret, eh? I laughed out loud when I read how she beat everyone at poker; I can just imagine the shocked look on Teddy's face! Even more amusing is imagining Jed's face... XD And when Luis and Clarke talk about whether the others have learned their lesson about never underestimating her... Priceless!
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but you do a great job of including and creating background characters, like Chase, and including characters nobody bothers with, like Luis and Clark. They help add depth to your tale. :)
Another great chapter from you. Keep it up! :) As for updating, we all understand how life sometimes puts storytelling on hold, so no worries there.
