Loved it. Absolutely loved it. I wish this could've happened in the show. It was so touching. The Ranzz siblings have always been my absolute favorite characters in the show and I wish there had been more scenes or even whole episodes centered around them.

I especially loved how you delved into Garth and Mekt's early interactions. I loved how Garth admitted that he took his anger out on Mekt and then finally apologized for it.

This was a really awesome fic! It's incredible how you can go so in depth with Mekt's character even though he's only in three episodes of the show. And you write Lightning Lad just perfectly.

I'd love to learn more about the vaguely Coluan planet you mention in the beginning. All the traps remind me of the bit in Mockingjay where everyone's trying to evade the pods in the Capitol...I'd really like to see another story on that planet and just what kind of adventure Mekt had there.
