Enjoyed the revelation, but what I also really appreciated is how Ace/Ann feels that gender makes no difference. A lot of other fics, usually with Luffy as a girl, act like she should be protected more, but that does not make sense with someone like Dadan raising them. Not the sort of role model that would lead to that sort of thinking
