aww this seems pretty cute. though i have to correct you, based off of this baby's behavior, it seems far closer to five months old than between one and two years old. believe me, i've probably been doing way too much research on baby development than what google would probably consider healthy [dry laughter]. between ages one and two, the kid should definitely be having separation anxiety and would not react well to petra at all and be unable to imprint itself on a new face for a long time. there's also a very big developmental difference between ages one and two, but i'm going to let all this nitpicking slide because i've never had firsthand experience with babies either, and not everyone likes to extensively research things for fanfiction, unlike me.

*snuggles down* i always enjoy slice of life in the canon universe. this fandom needs more of that. keep going; take your time with the next chapter. it's quality, not the quantity. /le pat pat
