May or may not have spent the past four days doing nothing but reading in my free time and screwing up my sleep schedule in the process... Needless to say I absolutely love this so far and how you're able to keep everyone in character and how you portray them. Everything is written and explained so well. This is definitely one of the better fanfics I've read in this fandom as well as several others. This is a true gem. I can wait to find out what happens with Mercedes and the consequences of her using so much of her power. Every time Alucard and Xander interact I keep picturing Xander just getting incredibly sad about his mom and needing a hug so he hugs Alucard. He's such a precious child that must he protected at all costs. Can't wait for what the future holds!

Dude loving Alucard's backstory about him and Daciana, I hope to see more of it soon like their wedding day, etc etc, I also especially love the origin of Alucard's sliver cross, hope to hear more of that in later chapters

hey man back, Great chapter; love seeing Xander interacting with Alucard as well as Seras (kinda), looking forward to the next one

I enjoy this because its refreshing to me for someone to show Alucard in the way that you do since in some i read he may as well be a teddy bear with occasional murder. Besides that i hated millineum because to me it seemed impossible for Alucard and Walter to have missed that many people if that makes sense

I need to reread Opposing Forces before I send what I liked and didnt but I can tell you that over all I absolutely love this fic! It's so different from all the other ones I've read and it's so well written!

Man, that's awful. My condolences on your loss of work. I personally draft everything onto paper and binder, but even if you've lost everything now is a chance to make something bigger! Something better! The loss of a whole world is simply a chance to work on something better, perhaps a world with some old concepts with new ones!

Anyway, don't worry about writing, focus on your life first and foremost.

I just want to say that I am sorry for not commenting as much as I could. I love this story to death and it's one of my faves. Its shitty that all if that had happened to u, especially ur computer bricking up.

Sometimes I forget one of my faves because it's been a while, but that doesnt mean I dont love this fic to death. To be honest one of the reasons I've probably not come back to this lately is the fact that I've been migrating to Ao3. And as soon as I say this update in my inbox I knew exactly what this fic was and wanted to know what would happen next.

But with the amount of work that you have lost I don't blame you for wanting to take a break for now. Take care of yourself and do what feels right to you. But I do want you to take this advice from me, get an external harddrive for your new computer to back up your files going forward. Not only will this work for fics but any other important files or docs.

Hope your doing ok and I'll be rereading this fic now. Take care for now and take as much of a break you need.
