Thank you for updating, I liked it. Talk about cliffhanger. Gail is caught between a rock and a hard place. She has to do what Wolf wants, but as a cop, even undercover, she has to do the right thing by the law. I bet Gail wishes she did go to Holly's. I'm surprised Gail didn't booby-trap her place, Elaine lessons, like a glass bottle or cup on the door handle etc. I'm curious who attacked her.

Gail will go to jail if she fails her mission? What's up with that? What is Gail's predicament?
Tracy being Gail's handler should more supportive and more concerned about the fact that she was attacked and almost killed twice than the wellbeing of these lowlifes.
Even though there was not much of it, I loved the interaction with Holly.
Who attacked Gail indeed?

Wow! What a scene! My heart was thumping in my chest the whole time! I’ve always liked darker versions of Gail, and this one doesn’t disappoints! I eould like to see her interacting more with Holly :) why does Lavesque protects her? Great update and will wait for the next installment!

I don't really mind any version of Gail you writers decide, as I still see the caring and love within her. It just sometime you got to do what got to do in any possible way to get it done. And we still got to see the goofy Gail and Holly when they are together!

Well that was a high energy chapter. What’s GAil story we are starting to unravell her past that has led her to this violent dark place. The story is well written, the characters complex. So looking forward to see what happens next.
