Saralee chapter 21 . 1h So happy for this update. I love this story so much that I am offended by your words that any additions of reunions, letters, etc etc would tend to make the story “dull”. No way! This story will never be dull! Write quickly, we need more. |
Deer-Shifter chapter 21 . 20h It took me ages to find this story again, and I had forgotten it was still in progress. I do appreciate that you continue to write it, and love it - I will never forget the prologue, where you turned the Hunsford proposal on its head by - apparently - changing the identity of the woman Darcy loved, only to then reveal the truth. I love it. |
AnnWest chapter 21 . 7/29 Thank you for the update, next the journey home to see her sisters. I hope Bingley can keep Jane and Mary away from Mr Collins Snr. |
anncarol chapter 21 . 7/29 great chapter as per usual, thank you. |
Guest chapter 21 . 7/29 OMG, yes, Lizzie, marry Darcy! You have your sisters to protect! If Collins Sr. somehow gains control over you, they will suffer terribly! It's not just for your safety, it's for theirs too. As Mrs. Darcy you will have much more power, and he will have no legal rights over you anymore. |
Guest chapter 21 . 7/28 Elizabeth MUST marry if she is going back to Meryton before turning 21. She is wealthy and a witness to a murder confession: too much temptation for a terrible man like Collins. Even married she would be at risk! |
Guest chapter 21 . 7/28 Wow! What a fabulous story! Just brilliant! Stick to writing forever, its your natural, God-given talent! Even to keep at it, just part-time, for fun! |
Guest chapter 21 . 7/28 What a rich story- thank you! I'm struggling with the integrity of waiting till this is resolved to marry vs. how much better positioned it seems like she would be going in as Mrs. Darcy. |
LB chapter 1 . 7/28 Back to comment again and give well-deserved kudos to this excellent story. Wonderful characterizations, new characters (Bow Street Runner constables), evil villain (someone other than usual suspects), but most of all - what a love story between Darcy and Elizabeth (Adelaide). In Darcy's mind, Elizabeth will always be Adelaide. Only asking for two things dear author - 1) Old Mr. Collins needs a really spectacular downfall. I think for him, exposing him to his Meryton neighbors as the low life scum (trying to use nice adjectives) and not the gentleman that he pretends to be would hurt him the most. 2) HEA for the Bennet sisters and particularly Jane who has suffered the most. Not too worried about the ton. Yes, Elizabeth might be an actress but every guy in England will be so jealous of Darcy. Looking forward to how to you will solve that conundrum. |
Another Lizzie chapter 21 . 7/28 Glad you're back. Going home before she is 21 seems chancy. If anyone (Caro) let's it slip who she is can't Collins take charge of her again? She should have married Darcy first. Then she would be safe from Collins. Thanks and stay safe. |
Annbr chapter 21 . 7/28 English isn’t my native language, so it’s difficult for me to write lengthy comments, but I really do love this story! I hope you’lol be able to write more frequently! |
Guest chapter 21 . 7/28 Wow what a great chapter! This story is definitely compelling! I am so glad that you have updated and can not wait to read more! |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/28 Thank you so much for this chapter. I have been checking frequently for an update hoping this story was not abandoned. My fears have been calmed. This is such a wonder, gripping story it would a so sad if you were not able to continue. Talented author! Cheers! |
Anne-Netherlands chapter 21 . 7/28 What a wait for us...bur so worth it. I confess I am impatient to at least see a hint if a promise of marriage from Lizzy...so that he (and we) can be confident. And should Collins sr try to exert his guardianship...then Darcy and Lizzy (Scotland?) could deny that claim... I am really just hoping for a speedy updat...that is: if you are well...find you have the time and the inspiration. Thank you for taking us on this journey! |
crispill chapter 21 . 7/28 Captivating, well-built, well-written story. In this moving chapter, Elizabeth's revelations give us details and show even more her courage. I can't wait for the meeting with her sisters. Isn't Malvern's letter enough to accuse Collins ? I look forward to learning more when he is found and arrested. Thank you so much. |
