So lovely McG is keeping in touch with the Harts.

And I always love a flashback...this one special because it is right before we meet Cath. It's a sad but also uplifting phone call, after him talking to Freddie's poor daddy. And it's soothing to us, cos Show left McG hanging, to all appearances friendless, for all these years. As if 5-0 were his first and only friends, when it's clear the SEALs are a tight group, and McG is the kinda guy who attracts friends...as he has done on the show. I've always resented Show overlooking the myriad friends in the service...and frankly from his high school years on the island... that McG is bound to have. Good to see y'all filling in those blanks. First and foremost with Cath, of course.

The memory of their phone call was so moving. I can feel their pain. Its a wonderful story. Thank you!

Of course he could have it, in theory, because there's not many people with a heart as big as Steve's and with so much love to give without ever expecting anything in return.
But I doubt he would have ever let himself have it without Cath by his side to gently guide him onto the right and best path.

I really love how Steve realizes the changes in himself. That is an amazing aspect of his character in your stories. He admits all of his feelings deep and frivolous.

This was just so sweet! So glad that Cath was there through everything to show Steve it was ok to open up, show his feelings & let people in.

Have not really written any reviews of wedding. First I loved this right here. I think my favorite parts of the wedding story were the fact that Freddy's parents came and I loved that Steve chose pineapple cake just to get Danny ticked off. LOL! The compass cufflinks were just an amazing idea on Cath's part and I loved that she got Freddy's family to come and that they all had such a wonderful time. Too bad they aren't close enough that Sophia could experience having an Uncle Steve 24/7. I also thought the candleholders were so special. But my favorite part, I think, (and I haven't even mentioned Grace and Joanie moments) was when Steve couldn't wait to give Catherine a kiss and did so at the BEGINNING of ceremony OBLIVIOUS to everyone and everything else. Oh, and I loved Cody's reaction to the wedding in talking with Steve.

This made me cry. You capture there love for each other perfectly. I think this is one of my favourites, it just shows how far they have come.

Truly truly amazing! The whole wedding storyline was just fantastic. You worked so hard for that but the effort was so worth it.
