Aww, this is such a cute story! You really captured Ed's relationship with Mustang well here, and you did it without Ed being able to speak! I'm glad you showed Mustang in an honest light, that he does like to torment Ed just for his own personal entertainment. It's no wonder Ed gets so worked up. I say Mustang got off easy, as Ed could've made his emotions known by deconstructing Mustang's desk, or something like that, what with not being able to respond to so many put-downs.
At least Ed got his point across to Mustang in the end, lol.

I wish this story would continue, as I'd like to see what comes next. Does Edward try to ride out his laryngitis with just treating it by himself, or does his little brother have to drag him to a doctor? As one who has had laryngitis in the past, it's not something you get over with in just one day, so it would be kind of fun to see how Edward deals with not being able to speak for several days. If everyone around him takes to teasing him because he can't talk back, wouldn't he go on a tear once he was well, making them all pay for how they treated him? Or would he get them back using silent methods?
