wow! i just binged this entire story after finding it and i love it! i hope you write more soon, you write really good and i wanna know what's gonna happen with shadow and maria!

*reads summary* meh I’ll give it a couple chapters *completely catches up instead of sleeping* damnit, well I hope you’re happy cause now I’m completely invested in all things in this story. Lol hope to see it continued my dude.

This is the sort of story you don't see often and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

You've constructed a well thought out world and you deliver it in a nice, believable manner.

I do see the odd spelling mistake or wrong word here and there so you might want to watch out for that. I'm happy to beta for you if you currently don't have one.

Your writing style is really clear and the flow is extremely good. I can really imagine every single detail and it just brings me so much joy to read every chapter. The premise is very interesting and original. I love the depth you placed in the the specisim between mobians and humans. The woman on the bus that broke up with her bf because of it just broke my heart and it was cool how you showcased the reasons for why they had discriminated in such a manner. That one woman that screeched at Sonic and Manic because she had lost her own 'pet' was a nice touch. It's hard to imagine Shadow as a pathetic circus animal as its such a stark contrast from his "im the ultimate uu" but then again Maria isn't the kindest, sweetest girl that we are all used to. I loved how you kept her as a shrewd girl who used her knowledge to intimidate her opponents (altho its too easy to hate her as well now :"c ) which makes this au all the more intriguing PLUs i remember how Shadow kept his eyes glued to Helen because of her wheelchair and arghh please unravel that mystery soon senpai i need to know why and how Maria has been cured and turned into this vile character to torture Shadow who probably still loves her unconditionally. Oh i have got to say that Manic is absolutely adorable and i love how he is the first to get Shadow to warm up to him (unconventional since this is a sonadow centered piece) and his love for Sonic makes me teary ahhh... Their bro relationship is too heartwarming and cute. I hope Shadow trusts Sonic enough to start speaking and recover! (Pls let Shadow have his chaos abilities ;; ) (p.s in chapter 6, Sonic says something about the ground rules to shadow as they are gg to sleep aka rice in the fridge don't open the door, but there seems to be an incomplete sentence there) Please write more! I can't wait to see the next chapter!

I'm SO happy you updated this story. The detail in this admittedly realistic world that fits so well with the Sonic Universe is perfect. The Sonic X cast you have is interesting too. Shadow might just be acclimated enough to stay in the household. I really hope you continue to update when able.

Happy anniversary! Man, this story is just getting better and better! I really like Shadow and how he's slowly getting used to Sonic and Manic. And Shadow bypassing Sonic's expectations is a plus too! I just worry about that car...it can't be anything good...

aw man I remember reading this on and I'm so glad you decided to revamp it. I love manic and sonic's character here. it's unique but fits so well in this au. I did like the idea of Shadow being more feral and truly loving Maria and her adoring him in your old version of this, but i can definitely tell how your style has changed and matured from that version. I love this and look forward to seeing more of this story and possibly more sonic content from you in the future. thank you for a great read in the bathtub!

I first read this before thw updated version was made and i had fallen in love with it, the whole idea of mobians not being treated as equals made sense, but more than that i love how descriptive and well thoighr out you made it. I love it even more now that its updated and fixed up some and explains things a bit more, i cant eait to keep reading more of the story and kuddos to you for being able to come back after so long and fix up and continue an older story such as this. Take all the time you need after all writing should be enjoyable, I hope you're doing well and thank you again so so much for writing such a good fic. I hope you've had a happy holiday

I took the opportunity to finally read this after seeing it around for a while. This is so interesting and different! I wish I would have gotten into it sooner.

I'm a huge fan of all the little details you go into concerning rehabilitation, like bland food, burrower beds, and how empowering little things like cups and spoons can be. You use nonverbal cues very well, and I enjoy reading about Shadow's mindset as he tries to adjust to his new surroundings. Between him and Manic, Sonic's got a lot on his shoulders. I hope he can hold out!

This sounds really interesting so far, looking forward to seeing what happens next :)
