this was super angsty & sweet. i loved it! the way cayde relates to her is eye-opening, because yeah, i imagine this is how most guardians feel. they wake up and are expected to start fighting, but for what? it must be hard to wage war against something you don't fully understand or even remember, as he said, but you feel a sense of gratitude or repayment due because the traveler brought you back from the dead. i'm making my way through book of sorrows and i def think it's interesting. we don't realize till much later that it's a cosmic war between two god-like entities. makes me feel small lol

This fic was great I read it ALL in one night and was just eager for more! Cayde's my fav Destiny character and it was awesome reading such a good fic about my vanguard leader!

That was way too close for comfort...

One of the better fanfictions I've read in the past eight years. It has a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, but the sheer depth and power of the story makes those errors easy to overlook. Very well done, I'll be recommending this fiction to my fellow Destiny players!
