That was honestly beautiful. :) I loved how the entire story was centered around time, the one thing that Alexander Hamilton couldn't gain by having Washington on his side. The entire thing was beautifully written (I have to admit that I cried the first time I read this), and put into words the unspoken thoughts, truths, and feelings that the musical portrays, while staying true to the ambiguity of it.

I loved how at the end, Aaron Burr was not made out to be the villain by choice, rather he was by default, which fits the musical but is absent in so many other stories. The poetic and almost vague language used in the story really added a lot to it, and I really can't convey how glad I am that I found it. Keep writing, please, and know that there aren't all that many people on this site with your talent (no less in the Hamilton archives...). Thank you! :)

I have to admit, I am wary of Hamilton fanfic, but your is brilliant. It's quick and intense and raw and emotional and real. You capture the emotion and the intensity of the show, and I love that you included lyrics. Great job.

Wow. This is amazing, the connections you draw between different lines and ideas. My favorite section is the third from the end. The only thing I think could be improved in this piece is the tenses, the way they changed was a little confusing, but overall this is wonderful!
