Alphys! :D I've been waiting forever.

And by "forever", I mean "since last night when I discovered this fic". Close enough

I just binge-read this whole story, and DANG IT this is too good!

I really like this story! The idea is really creative and fun to read. I also loved the part in the new chapter when Sans wanted Gaster to name the blasters Gaster blasters, it was so cute :3

Daww thats so sad. Sans was starting to warm up to the Doc and suddenly he ruins it by telling him he's only good as a 'research assistant/experiment.' I probably would have been depressed.

I'm going to guess that the 'secret' project Gaster want's Alphys to work on is the one where monsters are injected with DT.
Ya, that seems pretty likely. Right?

Also, is Sans just taking the science job in hopes of keeping Gaster's attention off of Papyrus? He obviously didn't want to give the scientist any ideas.

My biggest question though is what is up with people shivering whenever Gaster touches them?
As far as I am concerned Gaster doesn't have some dark past that make people weary of him. They just naturally shudder when he touches them.
Is this what you would call gut instinct? Foreshadowing?
And what's up with Gaster touching everyone's heads?
It's sorta creepy how he finds peoples head shapes 'interesting.' (Now you've got me shivering)

I don't want to doubt Gaster! I want him to be a good daddyyyyyyy!
But I can't deny the fact that no one feels comfortable around the scientist and there has to be a
reason for that.
Aaaaaagh!

Yes! Sans is going to be less lazy and work with Gaster!

And Gaster is just so thrilled I can't handle it!
I mean he almost seems like Papyrus here with his rambling, over excited mannerisms, and gift giving- it's kind of surprising.
I didn't know the guy had it in him.

While Gasters reaction has me head over heals (it's so weird and funny!) I am kind of nervous too.
Why is the guy so excited?
I'm of course wondering if he's got something diabolical up his sleeve.

But then again it's not like Gaster is hiding any of his plans. He told Sans right out what kind of work the boy would be participating in, and I quote: 'Anything that requires your assistance. With your particular magical aptitude you would most likely be working on a pet project of mine- but then it would also be influenced by what you wish to study,' end quote.

See, no evil plot. Just normal science stuff… although, he didn't exactly say what that 'pet project' was.

But if he was going to do something he knows the boy's would fight against Gaster would have been wiser to just shut them away in a secret lab the moment he got custody of them. Then he could control and do whatever he liked.
Instead he's celebrating birthdays with them, giving them homeschooling lessons, and spending quality time with them. Not only that, but he is introduced them to his colleges and interns so people know of their existence. He has also expressed wanting Sans to work alongside him and has given Sans the choice to study in whatever scientific field he finds an interest in. He even had a lab coat for Sans prepared and everything. You usually give lab coats to partners, not lab experiments.
If he really had something bad planned he wouldn't have worked so hard to build relationship with them and make them feel like they have a normal life… right?
Or is he just playing around with them like dolls!

Even though Gaster makes me nervous I don't believe he is going to do anything to the boys that would cause them pain or force them to do things against their will.

And besides, I can't be mad or scared of him right now. Not when he's acting like a little child who just got their christmas gift early!
His reaction to Sans accepting to work with him was just so priceless!
Oh, and I liked the part where Gaster smacked Sans lightly upside the head for using sarcasm and the boy just laughed. I and my siblings do that to each other all the time.
To me that interaction makes both of the skeletons seem more normal, like maybe they could be a family.

So thanks for this chapter and I look forward to the next!

I can just imagine how cute Sans most look in the bog lab coat. SO KAWAII!

This is a very well written story, I'd love to read more.

And so my trust and/or hope for Gaster fades... Definitely getting less of a 'Dadster' vibe and more of the 'I'm a psychopathic scientist who likes to do experiments on children' feel. (Let the angst commence!) Regardless, I'm loving the story and can't wait for the next update! 3

I don't know why but the baritone comment made me think about singing. Specifically, Gaster wanting Sans to be more comfortable with his voice and enrolling him in singing lessons (or teaching him). It's a crazy little thought. Anyway, this is a great story!
