This is an awesome story great wold And character building. Have cool idea on how naruto gets technology inmplanted while still being a tailed beast host. Gets mamied killing nagot's arogant ass and sarutobi asks hiroko from the will of fire movie to combine his caimera technique with cybernetic augmentation to create a body that has its natural growth potential and the added cybernetic benefits making a bio tech cyborg jinjuruki. Makoto colud be assined naruto as an ward while her gets used to his new and unique situation while working with section 9 in a joint task force. hell hanzo colud offer to train him in the shinobi art as thanks for killing nagot.

Okay, the positive things. The grammar is fine and I am a big fan of 10,000 chapters.

Now, I was instantly pulled in by your premise/summary (another positive) with an unusual crossover. Unfortunately, I'm 140,000 words and 10 chapters in and not yet out of the prologue. This has left me a bit frustrated. I'm still really interested in the described plot, so I'll definitely add this to my alerts, but I hope all the. . . exposition is knocked out in the next chapter or so and you get to the meat of the story that was described in the summary.

How to begin? Well, first off, I should qualify that I am not yet totally familiar with the Ghost in the Shell series, having only watched a handful of the remakes (including the latest live action movie) and having only recently gotten my hands on a copy of the original movie. That being said, I know a fair bit about it extraneously and love the concept as it seems to be a perfect blend of Sci-Fi and anime, two of my favorite subjects. That being said, this is an absolutely amazing adaptation trying to tie a very non-science based anime (Naruto) to a highly technological universe. Although some of the concepts you have proposed seem a little contrived, these are easily ignored in favor of the other elements of background information that you clearly have taken the time to think through and expound. Some people may not like a story that is too wordy, but I admire your descriptions and reconciliations between the two very different series. I find it very hard to criticize anything that I have read so far, baring a scant few spelling mistakes, places where you switch from past to present tense, mistakes that are easily understandable given the nature of the writing. And I will say, these are very few and far between. Biggest criticism? Not really a criticism. I love the inter-personal relationships and introspective glimpses which are very heavily interspersed here with continuous action, which could probably be shortened slightly, in my personal opinion which is highly overrated, I am told. But those scenes are very much worth it, and so I will continue to look forward to seeing the next installment and hang off of your every word when it finally does appear. This story really needs to be broadcast to a wider audience somehow, it really deserves far more reviews than it has received so far.

So I watched GITS Stand Alone Complex before reading this and it's made it easier to understand most things. Kinda hope for a update soon. I wanna see what happens to the Major and Naruto. I'm also kinda curious about what will happen to Naruto's body. I'm pretty sure he has to get a full body transplant but will he keep Kurama or lose him?

P.S. Is Naruto and Motoko going to get together. Not a whole of Ghost In The Shell stories and I'm curious.

So far ive noticed that your pacing and "info-dump" style of writing are the only problems you got going for this story. It takes ALOT for a fic to catch my attention since ive read thousands, pretty much seen everything at this point but this has caught my attention at the detail and thought put into it.

As I already said: Pacing and info-dumping are the only issues in my opinion, you go to 'in depth' when giving information about plot, scenery, or characters. Doing so also negativly effects pacing for the plot in total and can even put the most interested of readers off of the story as a whole. To be completely honest I almost droped this due to the constant info dump paragraphes between character interactions or plot advancement. Only thing that kept me going is how interesting and promising the premise is. Ive gotten into the habit of skipping straight passed the bulk of your paragraphs to the next important bit of story so I can't really complain too much. Others might not takes such efforts to keep going though.

All in all im very interested in how you will have Naruto lose his body for a fully robotic one and how that will effect Kurama in general. I think I can already see where your going though( my experience as a vetran reader with over 22000 read practically lets me mentally map where a story will go and what its possibly gonna do ). Since you have Naruto under Nagatos control using Nagatos chakra as the "strings" so to speak and you already dumped the information on how chakra, reiki, and foreign chakra effect a organic body you seem to be hinting at Naruto and Kurama tag teaming with a flood of chakra in desperation to stop him from doing something Nagato is forcing him to do at the time.

And as stated already.. such a flood will rip his body to shreds from the inside out slowly and painfully. With Narutos personality, such a result is most likely perfered to hurting someone he knows so he would do so in a heartbeat. The problem is with that much damage and Kuramas chakra being partially to blame I highly doubt even he can heal it so we have Naruto slowly dieing as his organic body rips itself apart at the seams. Now thats where things really get moving plot wise since the story description finally comes to pass: He can't survive with his organic body so only option is get a new body. With the stated effects of the chakra fight he would likely survive long enough to be transfered to either konoha or the empire for the operation, either ones possible but there will definatly be some seal specilists involved( likely Jiriya too ) since his robotic body likely needs some built in seals to hold Kuramra safely. The seal used doesn't just tie Kurama to the body, but narutos very soul and since Ghost in the Shell is all about the soul being in a robotic body its very likely Kuramas getting dragged along for the ride when Naruto is put into the new body weather he wants to or not.

Thats just my take on the possible route your going for, could be doing somethign completely different though so hopefully its not spot on and I spoiled myself( Ive done it before according to most authors whose stories I reviewed on int the past so entirely possible.. ). Either way this is promising and if you could cut down on the info-dumping then this would be alot better but even as-is its totally epic!

For quite some time I had given up hope of seeing this updated again. So I'm rather glad to see an update for this story occur. I have to say that this chapter was done rather well as your work usually is. I also like the manner in which you started to bring the ghost in shell characters into the story line. Given the interaction that occurred between Naruto and Motoko there towards the end. I get the feeling that when they next meet, although it might take him some time to remember or reach that conclusion he'll probably figure out where he remembers her life signature from. Perhaps not immiediately, but given enough time he might figure it out. Still though I do hope that we get to see you update this story of yours again relatively soon. Don't get me wrong but it's just so mind wracking to almost be done the prologue and have to wait at a few months to get to the next chapter.
Still regardless of how long it takes quality is always better over quantity, well for the most part at least. Hopefully we don't have to wait several months, but if it means getting a decent chapter then so be it. So keep up the good work.
