Well, I just started reading this fic a few days ago and I understand that you're having trouble writing it because of the non-canoness of it, but please understand that when it comes to fanfiction, not many people give a shit about it being canon and ooc is fine for a story like this.
But again, if you don't want to write it, it's fine, but I just wanted to let you know that I love it and cant wait for you to update it again, however far away that may be.

This is a very cool scenario, but I can't decide whether this is slightly OOC or not of Connie. Peridot I can understand. But does Connie realize the implications of letting Jasper roam free? If Jasper does not live up to her expectations and they need to bubble her again, how will they overpower her? The Crystal Gems will find out. Jasper will refuse to go back into the bubble. Or maybe Connie doesn't realize exactly who Jasper is and her actual power ad saw her as some poor gem to take pity on? Connie should have gotten more info from Steven or Amethyst even about Jasper before gallivanting off with Jasper to have a chat. I can't decide whether this is brilliant or so horribly reckless which is unlike Connie despite her beliefs, but all the same you have written a wonderful story.

I have to say, I see your point about wanting to just finish it up after everything that has changed in canon. I'm enjoying this as an alternate timeline piece, but I understand your desire to finish this up and put it to rest. I look forward to the ending.
