Think I owe you a fair few reviews, I've been quite poor at reviewing lately so apologies! But definitely had to drop a note on the last chapter to firstly say thank you for writing this story. I've loved every chapter! I've also really loved how you took it from a simple linstead getting a dog tale into so much more! The arcs in here were so good. Sad to see it end, but you did it so well!

Alfie and Nathan's friendship is so sweet and absolutely adorable, dogs really are man's best friend.
I've loved this story so much and I can't believe it's finished! I'm going to miss it so much but I'm glad they all got their happy ending and saw just how much of a ripple effect Alfie had in their lives.

Ahhh this was the perfect ending to this story! I love that you described so much of their story, I could literally imagine the scenes one after the other. From them announcing they're pregnant with their baby boy to them awaiting their little girl, it was a lovely montage of sweet family moments. That whole disastrous moment with Alfie and the paramedic was funny. I love that Will stepped up to take care of Alfie and help Erin however he can.
Jay having that talk with Alfie was all kinds lf cute. And I loove babies growing up with dogs guarding them. The images of Alfie and Nate being best buddies were too precious.
I love that Erin and Jay got their little (or not so little) family. They have been through so mucj and I'm so happy their infertility journey ended like this. They deserve to have a loving family of their own.

Well, I just went through a whole range of facial expressions on the subway home reading this - suspicious, blushing, grinning like an idiot, and sniffling back some tears. I really love the direction this story has taken. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Ahhh this was another emotional roller coaster! Absolutely loved it! So interesting and realistic for you to explore the struggles that come along with infertility, how that cam affect the couple. I love that that one night of intense emotions ended up being the night it happened. Poor Jay he was so scared at the end but I'm glad he heard it face to face, it was that much more emotional.
I love how you weaved Alfie in, how he guessed there was a life growing inside Erin's tummy, that was soo sweet. They'll be the greatest family!

Well, that...that was just an emotional rollcoaster. Wow. I love how this played out - both of them misreading the other's emotions (Erin worrying Jay was disappointed; Jay worrying that Erin feels pressured to do this for him), Alfie constantly trying to cheer them up, and then Hank pulling stuff out of the safe because he wants another grandchild and wants to see Erin get to be a mom. So beautifully done.
