To be honest we're only still here cause of Rubi relationship with Kagura and the anticipation of meeting the fairytail cast when they met erza's "twin".
And GMG. GMG is like the best of all fairytail arcs.

Is your mc a devil Slayer? That's the only reason I can think of that she would react to, presumably, Mira's arm. That'd be cool, especially if she ended up against Laxus and ate his lighting but he couldn't eat hers. Anyways cool story so far
