I love your work, I really really do. It's something I like to come back to time and time again to reread.
I really liked the section with Toph in this story, and the idea of Zuko losing his vision temporarily really clicked something in my head. I'm working on getting a fix up which has a fair bit of Zuko pre-series (major AU though) and was wondering if I could borrow the idea of sympathetic blindness?

This was amazing! I like Zuko and Toph's talk about blindness, it was so great. And Zuko being good at cutting people with his words is pretty badass, and Aang worrying about him is so sweet! :)

Suki's part is the best thing I've read today... That's all I can say. I mean that the other parts were good but... Suki.

Also I love these moments focs sooo much! They are pretty rare and this one sticks to canon! Like most of them don't and well...I was looking for something to fill the Avatar sized hole in my heart and this one does a food job! Althouhh I will probably be reading more fics but anyway, great job and keep up the good work!

Katara's section: YES, Zuko breakdown! the realization that Mai is possibly going to die/being tortured/imprisoned for ever for protecting HIM can definitely trigger a major panic attack. Liked the "She might hate him, but right now he probably hated himself even more."
Sokka's section: I love serious Sokka, especially when it comes to his sister's well-being. Loved that analysis of Katara and that no, Zuko doesn't understand her like her brother does. Great!
Toph's section: 2 things I loved: of course Toph has no way to know Zuko basically lacks half a face. And I like the idea that his seeing was heavily impaired for a while after such a blow (even if the fire-vision thingy seems a bit ridiculous), and that it shows in him being very conscious of her impairment.
Suki's section: this one felt slightly OOC, because I can't see Zuko doing sarcasm like that. Rather challenging Jeong-Jeong to an Agni Kai or something. But yes, Jeong-Jeong, you old coot, you totally fucked up. fire is warmth, life, energy! Suck it up!
AAng's section: of course Zuko wouldn't rest while he's a fresh firelord. And of course Aang would care and be annoyed, the sweetheart.
Zuko's section: yey yes how true and adorable! He really seems to have no clue on "how to friendship".
In short: great piece, loved your characterizations and understanding of the heroes, good job!
