HIIII, SORRY FOR BEING LATE TO THIS AND FOR MY TARDINESS FOR JW. SCHOOL HAS BEEN A LITTLE CRAZY RIGHT NOW BUT IM DOING FINE. SO LETS BEGIN.

THE TALK BETWEEN ELARA AND YODA IS RIGHT ON POINT AND GAVE ME A PEACEFUL WARM FEELING. MASTER AND PADAWAN UNDERSTANDING EACH OTHER AND COMFORT/CONSOLE? EACH OTHER BECAUSE DARK TIMES ARE COMING. THE CLONE WARS IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE MAIN CHALLENGES FOR EVERYONE, BUT IT IS ALSO GOING TO BE ONE OF THE GREAT AWAKENINGS ESPECIALLY FOR ELARA I BELIEVE.

ELARA HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING AND OBI-WAN KNOWING SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND THEN WENT TO COMFORT HER, KYYAAAAAA. LOVE HOW ELARA LETS DOWN HER GUARD AROUND OBI-WAN AND HOW OBI-WAN RELAXES AROUND ELARA. THEY HONESTLY KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY, IMAGINE HOW MORE IN TUNE THYE WILL BE WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER.

OBI-WAN...LOOKING AT ELARA’S LACK OF DRESS BUT TRIES TO IGNORE IT AND GETS FLUSTERED IS GOLDEN. I ALSO LOVE THAT EVEN WHEN HE LOOKS HE IS STILL VERY RESPECTFUL TOWARDS HER. I DEFINITELY WANT TO SEE MORE FLUSTERED MOMENTS BETWEEN THEM, THEY ARE ADORABLE.

OBI-WAN GIVING ADVICE AND HELPING ELARA WITH MEDITATION IS SO SWEET AS WELL. HE KNOWS THAT SHE DOUBTS HERSELF BUT HE FULLY BELIEVES IN HER. ALSO WHEN HE ADMITTED THAT SHE PROVED EVERYONE WRONG, INCLUDING HIM, JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU HOW MUCH HE RESPECTS HER, AND BELIEVES SHE IS READY TO BECOME A JEDI KNIGHT.

THE AFFECTION THAT OBI-WAN FEELS TOWARDS ELARA AND HOW HE WANTS TO COMFORT HERMAKES ME SQUEAL. POOR OBI-WAN REMEMBERING HER AND DOOKU AND CONNECTING THAT TOWARDS HIS PAST IS HEARTBREAKING.

FINALLY THE ENDING WHEN OBI-WAN PUTS ELARA TO BED COMFORTABLY AND TOUCHING HER CHEECK WHILE REMOVING HER HAIR OUT OF HER FACE IS SO BEAUTIFUL, MY HEART. I BELIEVE THE “REST WELL, MY DEAR”, IS PROBABLY HIS BREAKING POINT IN HIM KNOWING HE ACTUALLY DOES HAVE FEELINGS TOWARDS ELARA. LETS SEE WHO WILL CONFESS FIRST OBI-WAN OR ELARA, OR WILL THEY BOTH DO IT TOGETHER?! AHHHHH IM SO EXCITED.

Wow, I seriously just have SO much respect for you as a writer/author. I’ve never seen Obi-Wan portrayed so perfectly! I truly think you’ve got it spot on. And Elara fits right in! I feel like a lot of times, no matter how well the canon characters are portrayed, the OC’s end up very modern and don’t really fit in. I absolutely love Elara, and I can’t wait to see her grow into her power and see how she uses it in CW! I feel like everyone’s gonna be shook in the best way haha. I also love her interactions with Yoda! I‘m so excited for her to become a Jedi Knight, but I’m also kinda sad haha! I know we’ll still see him though.

I first found/binged Balance maybe 2 months ago? I get so excited for a new update and I find myself reading my favorite chapters again before letting myself read the new one haha. You’ve given me such an amazing story I’ve gotten to look forward to updating during quarantine, so tysm for that, really. You know if Anakin does inevitably goes dark, it be interesting to see Elara gaining the rank of Master which will make Anakin go all jealous over his sister to the point of wanting to kill her out of jealousy.

Idk if Elara is gonna gain a padawan during CW but it’s fine she doesn’t but it be cool she does get one like Cal Kestis, just my opinion.

Love the chapter anyways and the talk with Yoda and Obiwan. Can’t wait to see big sis Elara manage haughty Anakin!
