Naruto only ever got beat in taijutsu by taijutsu specialists like Neji, Lee and Sasuke, and even then he wasn't too badly beat. He was very much capable of hanging in there and performed just as equally as Sasuke against Lee, where they both got their ass handed. And the other times he lost in taijutsu was against Jonin. Not a single character in canon has said anything bad about Naruto's taijutsu, while on the other hand he was categorized as a short to mid-range fighter which they wouldn't have done if he had atrocious taijutsu like you claim.

Watch the series. Reading fanfictions causes you to think fanon is canon. Goodbye.

Wow, that's an incredibly contrived way of putting Naruto and Hinata together... god I hate mindless pairings. Naruto would be better off training with pretty much anyone else he just arbitrarily dismissed than Hinata. Your reason was that she made him feel better, he should be choosing a critical partner like Shino or Neiji, heck, it may as well be Shikamaru since they are both promoted. Like it or not there's a subtle divide between Naruto and Shikamaru and their peers due to them being superiors in a military organisation. But I suppose it's your wont to frustrate the ever living shit out of me by having twelve year olds romance each other...

I also feel like Asuma was overly critical of Naruto's progress initially when it came to the leaf splitting exercise since it's completion is usually around 6 months.

Anyway I'll tentatively continue reading but I'm not hopeful.

For someone going on and on about how to treat a superior officer, kakashi sure didn't give a crap that sakura started screaming at Naruto and slapped him literally 25 times. All while insulting him.

Uh this is important, Lee isn't crippled at all he has no talent at ninjutsu his chakra works fine. You've got Sasuke I believe suggesting Lee can't use Chakra which would actually mean he couldn't be a ninja. He would literally be incapable of doing some of the prerequisites elite ninja need to do like water walk or tree climb. Just in general not being able to clamp on to the ground would be a major disadvantage. But yeah Taijutsu is using chakra to do physical things Lee uses it quite actively and in the manga when he's first introduced Sasuke notices exactly this when Lee's fist is covered in chakra to his eyes.

I like the story, but I found the section involving Sakura roaming through the man's mind long winded. I ended up skipping pieces of it.
