You are a brilliant writer. You can tell a story like nobody's damn business! Intimate, poetic, vivid, sexy af, brutal, and truly hilarious - you communicate such depth of character and situation with a simple turn of phrase. I have read this story so many times and I'm so, so happy that I just read it again. This is a true Richonne & Dasha masterpiece. Also, you write some of THE best smut I have ever read in my damn life – and thank you for that! I know it's been a minute, but I'm still patiently waiting for your next dazzling update. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Andrea Is a pain in the ass! I laugh when Merle has to control himself to not spaz on andrea.

You have such a gift for story telling. I was sucked into this world from the first word. This story is such an angst but somewhat hopeful remix of canon. And can I just say I love the ‘my one and my own’ nicknames Rick and Michonne have for one another?

I’ve read so much fanfiction that characters can sometimes become stale. You’re characterizations for all of the characters are fresh and better than the actual writers for the show. And your original characters...I love Savannah already. I can’t wait to find out who the traitor was for The Gov.

I feel bad that Andrea is stuck being terrorized but she just doesn’t learn, does she? She still wants to hurt Michonne for Rick. She’s not a very good person in this fic.

I don’t know if you’re still writing this one but please come back. It was such a wonderful journey you just took me on and I want it to continue.

WOW! I just found this story and am sooo glad I did! Young Richonner is written beautifully. You can feel the adoration/love they have for each other and their 'first time' scene was funny and thoughtful. I love the My Own/My One names, great touch. I could see TV Andrea saying those things and I feel you were true to the characters. Wonderful seeing a repentant/remorseful Merle. I love him 'being drawn to' Suze, a strong black woman. Your handling of child abuse with Daryl and Meryl's characters was on point. Dealing with physical, mental and sexual abuse as a child can/will cause Daryl and Meryl's type problems. Kudos. Dasha is beautifully written. The gov.'s storyline is building and I can't wait!

Continue writing! You are talented/gifted. You have a maturity in your writing which is refreshing. Pleeeaaase don't keep me waiting too looon for an update! I am waiting with bated breath!

I'm not really sure how to express how I feel about this fic, save I am so glad I found it! It's so well written, and although not the only one, it's always a relief to find a story not absolutely littered with errors; grammer, punctuation, spelling, repeated sentances, missing words... I could go on but I won't.

As I don't tend to review every chapter (or even every story I read), I'm sure I'm not the best type of reader but I really love what you've done here, putting a new perspective on the Prison days and the Governor so I chose to write one big review.

* Young Richonne are the best version of young them that I've come across so far. I love them. Once now Michonne knows why he broke up with her all that time ago, I'm sure she'll forgive him. She's already taken so quickly to the kids so it's bound to happen.
* I don't hate Merle, in fact he seems to be redeeming himself. Kudos.
* I hate that Andrea is so awful and delusional, she really seems to have lost her mind. I never did get all the hate for her on the show despite some bad descisions she made, but here she is just all kinds of wrong. I disagree with those that say she deserves everything she is getting now, no-one EVER deserves to be raped.
* I hate that Oscar is the devil incarnate. He needs to meet his fate via Sasha's hands.
* Carl. This boy is just so amazing, how is he so damn smart but still so likeable? His attachment to Michonne is lovely, but a little quick as it seems that the whole story so far has taken place in just a few days.
* Show Daryl I can take or leave, but in fics, and in yours especially, he really is more paleteable. With some backstory (and the rape of a 10 year old boy orchestrated by his own father is deplorable) that I think you deal with so very well, it's easy to understand him so much better onscreen.
* Tyrese, I'm so glad to see him at the helm, not just behind the scenes, and I love the nickname lil' bit for Sasha!
* Not enough Glenn & Maggie.
* Glad I still hate the Governor. He never was decent to begin with.
* Maggie/Sasha gossiping like teenagers seems OOC.
*Some fantastic OC's.

SOOOO happy to see this update! It took me a minute to collect my thoughts for this review. First of all, you are to be commended for the thought and care your took in unfolding Daryl's story. You had me crying legit tears here! The trauma of abuse - sexual and physical - on boys/men is not mentioned as often as it should be. I think there is so much hidden shame for men that just sits and festers. Sorry to go super dark, but it made me think of the recent suicide of Chester Bennington, also a victim of childhood sexual abuse. While he spoke about it openly, you've got to wonder about the demons that reside in the mind when such an abuse is deemed so taboo that most never speak of it and suffer in silence. So, so heartbreaking.

Daryl's backstory pretty much explains him as an adult. Beaten, battered, and having difficulty identifying and understanding real love. Or what it means to be part of a family. Even from those trying to give it to him freely. Sasha's caring and understanding is EVERYTHING. Ugh, the feels! She is falling for a deeply traumatized man and needs to really handle him carefully. Her love is judgement-free, which is exactly what Daryl needs. Sweet, sensitive, sexy. Really, really heartfelt and beautiful writing.

Between Oscar and Andrea both continuing to do THE MOST, you're keeping us on our toes with this story! I've thoroughly enjoyed this update and am anxiously awaiting your next one. Please and thank you!

damn andrea got what she deserved and now she is thinking about her mistakes. I almost feel bad for her.

Sasha and Daryl was so sweet and gentle, that was nice.

That Oscar should be dead, I wish he was. I hope he doesn't cause any trouble for them. But I have a feel he will but it won't end well for him.
