while I wish itachi and izumi were not on the island (I wanted them to have a child by the time everyone came back) I do like how you made this story go the way it did.
anyways I love what you have do with the story so far

just a thought but couldn't you have had him train to learn his power in real time... this way you could have had him be OP at a later time(like the tournament arc or after the 2 year time skip) and have had him at around s class right off the get-go. this way you could this have the story be similar to the original story and make since... since now he is a broken(God like) character there should be nothing that could be a problem for him...in other words this story should just be him getting together with izumi and raising kids...
these are just my thoughts since itachi isn't the type of character to leave enemies alive nor is he the type of character who would be careless and since he is OP no one should be able to actually harm him...
these are just my thought and I don't me to trash talk your story i just wanted to give you my thoughts...
ps. I like the idea of your story and can't wait to read more

too much stuff man, he was good enough with any tailed beasts. oh well, maybe you won't overuse them, though I sincerely hope you're not going to severely weaken him for plot convenience that is probably one of the things I hate the most. that and making oblivious dense main characters, because seriously, no one is that dense.
