Noctus Fury chapter 1 . 6/6/2018 Wow! This may have been the HARDEST thing you have ever written in your entire life, but this was WELL DONE! I loved every single word you typed on this page. Your dialogue is so well written and the back-and-forth between Bellwether and Nick was like watching an intense game of chess, each trying to outmaneuver the other with verbal duels. It's beautiful. I was so riveted! I also loved how Judy comes in the end and apologizes to Nick in front of Bellwether and how their relationship became solidified by that conversation. And I love how Nick ends up winning the verbal game of chess and leaving the ewe speechless in the end. Very well done! |
TheoreticallyEva chapter 1 . 1/29/2018 Brilliant. Made a lot of great points that hadn't occurred to me yet. Loved it. :) |
ariolfo101 chapter 1 . 1/13/2018 You pulled it off magnificently, though the conversation did seem to run a little long. The whole conflict between Nick and Bellweather, the way they take low blows and pot shots like to two criminals they is very realistic, but it's clear who is the real hardened criminal with malicious intent. Nick's made mistakes, but he's not a vindictive killer. I have a Zootopia story suggestion for you and I do hop you will do it if you are so inclined. How about a Hunger Games AU, with Nick as a hardened mentor and Judy volunteering as a tribute? Him struggling to keep her alive and to get her to win, her overcoming the games and showing kindness and mercy in the face of the brutal system. Please? |
Issun the Wandering Writer chapter 1 . 9/28/2017 Well your hard work certainly paid off, this is one of the best stories I've ever seen from this fandom. |
Elf Kid2.0 chapter 1 . 8/26/2017 This is good. I like it . |
Perentie Fan chapter 1 . 4/30/2017 I'll echo what others said that jealousy/feeling weak was a great point to make about Bellweather's motivations. Seemingly even by sheep standards she is small and weak (either that or Zootopia sheep have massive sexual dimorphism), and so of course she might feel some jealousy for species that are genetically powerful, fast, etc. But directing that jealousy toward large herbivores would have been counterproductive to her once she realized that if she could unite prey against predator then she would be part of something far larger and stronger than all the predators put together (hence her emphasis on how wonderful it would be to have 90% of the population united against a common enemy), and that if she could place herself as a leader of such a movement then she would in essence be the biggest and most powerful of all. Her situation thus also contrasts with Judy, who also was made to feel small and weak growing up. Where Judy worked to succeed in spite of her weaknesses by focusing on her strengths, Bellweather wasted her own strengths (namely a lot of smarts) by becoming bitter. |
Noctus Fury chapter 1 . 7/19/2016 This was awesome. Zootopia's one of my most favorite fandoms now. It's become a little of an obsession. I love Judy and Nick too death, both as friends or a couple or both. Their relationship is just so well grounded. This one-shot was great and everyone was in character. You also did a fantabulous job showing us what was at the heart of Bellwether's motivation for bringing down the predators. It was realistic, it was plausible, and I truly think that THAT was the real reason why she wanted to do what she was doing to the preds. So awesome job. Can't wait for more HTTYD and Zootopia stuff. |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/24/2016 Very Good! This story truly impressed me, that is not an easy task. Thank you for posting. |
Dark Shining Light chapter 1 . 6/19/2016 This needed to be in the movie. It was so good! I'm just going to consider this canon in my head cause I loved it so much! :D |
Talonis Wolf chapter 1 . 6/3/2016 Well, damn. Nicely done, a slow start with a nice 'bang' at the end. The debate between between Bellwether and Nick was well thought out and really displayed how fundamentally different they are from each other, despite the strong similarities. |
Niori chapter 1 . 5/30/2016 Excellent story! |
Bearmauls chapter 1 . 4/22/2016 Nice! |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/20/2016 I love it! I would be really cool if you write a sequel oneshot that focuses on Judy's recovery. |
Monkey D. Conan chapter 1 . 4/19/2016 That was amazing! |
olverabonk chapter 1 . 4/19/2016 This was brilliant! Truly original and now head canon for me. I love, love that you described Nick as someone without a conviction! It fits his character. I'll have to re-read this. It may have been hard but clearly worth the effort you put in. |
