not gonna lie, this first chapter gives me a "psycho pass" vibe. which makes this interesting, very interesting indeed. i shall keep reading.

Is it legal to be the beta reader of more than one author? I volunteer as tribute! Anyways, good job on this chapter. As I had hoped, Wolford shows respect towards Judy for displaying kindness and offers his service. A few eye catching scenes were McHorn being a harsh brute and the death of a prisoner on Judy's first day and surprisingly, the fact that Wolford would be so prejudiced about Nick as well when Preds should be looking out for themselves as they consist of one tenth if the population. Anyway, I hope to hear from you. If you don't already have a beta reader, I suppose I could be up for the job

This just keeps getting better. The concept is a good one, having pred collars only for convicts. I appreciate Judy's compassion for Wolford, but i feel that several things could be added in here. For example, Wolford feeling thankful towards Judy for showing him kindness and developing sort of a senior-junior relationship later on where he is always loyal to help, like a hound (ironically so because he IS a canine). Also perhaps you could show in the following Judy's personal thoughts about the collars, mention how she grew up dreaming of being a ZPD officer but gradually realises that the collars are cruel and unfair (i suspect that this will happen at some point in the story anyway, given where this is going)

I was looking for a nice Zistopia themed fic and I found this little goodie. Nice work.

While the idea of anyone using people as meat shields & slaves is quite grotesque and disturbing, I am very eager to find out where you are going to take this concept and story. I'll be waiting for your updates.
