Awwww this was so sweet and lovely. I loved how Emma knew that Killian was lonely and stayed with him even if she didn't admit her reason to anyone. Killian apologizing to Belle was fantastic. The ending was wonderful and satisfying. Thank you for this time to spend in s2 CS world.

Oh my goodness this is wonderful! And so very possible. What did Killian do when he was not with Emma? Did he have any companionship? The loneliness, his and hers, is so well written. And the aspect of her parents wanting to return to the EF, that was under consideration for a while. Leaving Emma with no place that felt like home, certainly not the EF but then what was Storybrooke?

The conclusion fit as Emma made a huge leap to be Hook's friend and to tell him how she felt. They each have someone they care about now. Thanks for writing.

i love emma and david's conversation. emma's observations and dialogue is so funny! the bit about apple orchards and windows 95 killed me. those computers do look old though, perhaps it is windows 95? haha charming questioning emma about hook(we all know you love him, david nolan you are not fooling anybody.)

i think charming and snow could see it from the beginning! i remember s2 and s3, snow caught the looks emma and killian were giving each other and david asked emma about hook when she didn't mean neal at the diner. hmmmm.

(that stage in a cs fic when all you want to sing is 'GIRL YOU'RE IN DENIALLLL.') hook would be great at tying shoelaces obviously, hook buying a black leather jacket :D and i love how emma hints where and what time she'll be at the supply store and knows how much he loves his new black leather jacket.

i just want to give emma a hug , reading about all her problems. she always wants to look out for everybody and keep them happy even when it frustrates her. And she doesn't think she's allowed to be frustrated! one of the reasons why i love emma and killian's relationship so much is because of how supportive and loving it is. they're so good for each other, they make each other feel human and normal yet all of sorts of spectacular because he reminds her that it's okay to be frustrated and he always encourages her. it makes my heart melt. you showed that beautifully.

their banter and the 'you couldn't handle it' killed me. THE KISS KILLED ME. THEY'RE NOT ALONE ANYMORE THEY HAVE EACH OTHER.

That is definitely one of the best canon divergence I have read. I love their interactions together and Emma's denial turning into something that is pretty much inevitable.
