This is a fun and cute story! :)

To be completely honest the last paragraph *was* stupid, but everything before that was actually good. :)

On a side note: the MacGyver excuse could legit work in the ML universe, especially since thanks to Ladybug people understand the importance of MacGyvering and likely to take an interest in such things. Marinette could pass herself off as one such interested person.

The akuma scare was fun too. I half expected Marinette would catch the insect and rip it in half, though, or crush it in her fist or something.

Also, kudos to you for your observational skills. Too many people look for the big things as proof of physical strength, like lifting cars or something. :)
