I am so fucking sad that this work is abandoned. I’ve seen a lot of Naruto fics involving realistic Shinobi and harsh training methods. But I hadn’t encountered a fic where Kakashi was literally out to break Team 7 or see them turn into the best goddamn Shinobi possible. This fic was brutal and honest in ways I absolutely loved - the psychological aspects were just the icing on the cake.
Even if it’s been 3 years I hope you return to update this at some point. This was a brilliant seven chapters. Cheers, mate!
(Also, just in case you’re still looking for feedback: small time skips are the way to go. You don’t want the fic to be bogged down by minutia or repetitive elements; but at the same time Kakashi’s “training” needs to be shown. It’s the focal point of what separates this from canon - the foundation of the work. It’s a balancing act to not make the work boring but I still think it’s essential. Especially if you continuously sprinkle in moments akin to the poisoned ramen scene, Sakura with Ino, or Sasuke in the council meetings. Their fucked up experiences are changing them - showing that in moments outside of the large, canon plot points goes a LONG way in your overall characterization.)

This will be my second time re-reading this story. In my personal thought, Over the last few years quality fanfictions reduced. But you're, though, the same concept, has a breath of fresh air to it. And god! The maturity of your characterization, but, at the same time the pain. It's brilliant. I am glad that I came across it. And hope that one day I will see an update on this story.

I love Pyrrhic Victory. I adore how you handled Kakashis character and Sasukes and Sakuras development. My favorite is probably Naruto. A lot of Fanfiction writers either write him off as a total idiot or make him an OC practically. I really like his interaction with the Kyuubi. The writing style is pretty sophisticated too. My only query is wether or not you will continue to update. I saw that the story hasn't been updated since spring of last year and with PV being such a awesome story it would be a shame if you abandoned it or put it on hiatus. I understand if you don't have the time to write I just want to know if Pyrrhic Victory is still ongoing.
