Guest chapter 20 . 7/11 God this such a beautiful story |
Victoria chapter 19 . 1/30/2019 Well I first ever read this when i was 15 I believe. Sure that there must be an ico 2 story out there somewhere and found this. And after playing ico again today, 7 years later, on my old ps2 I decided to find it again! Then after a few hours I can still say I love this story! Well done! May not ever see this I know it's been a long time since writing it.. but thank you ! |
An Ico Fan chapter 20 . 10/24/2015 Now that I've finished reading your beautiful fan fiction I want to say thank you so much for writing this. Your story ended with a lovely feeling and I will forever remember this story. In my opinion, this story doesn't really need a sequel. The story is already amazing the way it is. Anymore information I give will lead to spoilers for other readers. So I'll stop right here. Thank you so much for this beautiful fan fiction. But I'm still debating which couple is better now. Link and Zelda from Ocarina of Time or Ico and Yorda. |
An Ico Fan chapter 10 . 10/23/2015 Though I may be twelve years late, I really love your fan fiction. You pulled off the secret brother plot perfectly and the romance is beyond beautiful and kawai (cute). This is how love should be defined. I have yet to finish this story though. I hope you still read your reviews, because I have not given a full one. And good reviews take more than thirty seconds. |
Ghost chapter 20 . 1/28/2014 Oh wait, I didn't read the last paragraph. My bad ;) |
Ghost chapter 20 . 1/28/2014 WHAT! ICO DIDN'T FALL FOR YORDA? HERESY! |
Guest chapter 19 . 2/2/2013 I COULDN'T STOP READING! |
TALLmessengers chapter 20 . 9/22/2012 This fanfic story has been awesome to read! I haven't played the game though I get the story of it before this one. I loved how you put creativity into the story and you kept it entertaining to read. Writing the relationship between Ico & Yorda, was nicely done. The writing was just enough to preview it in my head. I sometimes think that this story, would be good enough to see itself as a short anime series, in my opinion. But anyway, even though I'm new at reviewing things, the overall of the fanfic story was really good, 4 out of 5. |
Acheron94 chapter 2 . 9/23/2011 Its a great story. But I noticed that you didn't put Ico's name in the story you just put "the boy" Think about editing those parts of it, because at first I waas a little confused. |
Legendary Outlaw chapter 20 . 3/31/2009 Hey I really liked the story of Ico and Yorda and yes there should be a sequel. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who thinks that their should be a story about their kids. Well Ya got my vote. Thank you for the wonderful story. P.S. I'm trying to come up with a pin name. If you can help me that would be awesome. Contact me at The name has to have something to do with, traveler, story, bridge, rogue, bard and story-teller. Think you can help me out? |
S.A. Thorup chapter 20 . 1/28/2009 This is the best post-Ico story I have read thus far. You did an excellent job in developing characters, both the old and the new. The leap ahead of four years brought on an interesting and new perspective to the story, and I like how you connected Keoden and the Queen so well with the spirits and all. It seems to bring the Ico story full circle in its own way. I will now offer critique mwahahaha: If you ever go back through the story and do editing, be sure to check punctuation and sentence structure. I noticed a lot of that sort of problem in dialogue especially. Other than that, can't think of any critique XD I will note that "nanomori" actually means "Thank-you". The only reason I know this is because I've been on Youtube and watched videos that have the translations for Yorda and the Queen heh lol. But anywho, overall, excellent story. You have a talent for writing, so I encourage you to keep writing and build your skills. ~S.A. Thorup |
Sticklah chapter 1 . 10/24/2007 Dude, the first chapter is so good. You really got a feel for the characters. I'm actually kinda scared to read the rest because this is almost exactly what I thought they were thinking on my first run through of the game. |
Ariel Lenore chapter 2 . 3/15/2006 So far, (I mean, since Ive only read the two chapters) is that you over-explain things a lot. Those who have played the game already know what happened, and already know that they had language barriors, and that they are best freinds for ever. No need to delve too deeply into a problem someone already knows about, unless of course its part of the plot, or story and you need to reference or remind the reader. And over explaining emotions, and physical feeligns. but dont worry about that too much. Everybody does that. Case in point: This Review. :P One more thing. Apples, coconuts and grapes dont grow on beaches! Apples grow in fairly cold places, which I think the caslte took place somewhere in temperate wether because of the washed out colors of the castle and sky. But coconuts grow where its warm, and on trees where they need fresh water. Apples and grapes(grapes grow on a vine) need fresh water and very rich soil, so they would grow up on the mountain, not in the sand. Dotn be afriad to make up fruits! or use exotic fruits like um...starfruit *looks around* thats it. what I really wanted to say without sounding picky, is that Im enjoying it (the nightmares and memories seem to be the main focus so far) and I want to read more. So Im glad I have that chance to read more. :P |
KCKCKC chapter 20 . 2/20/2006 . . I wanted to read it all in one go, but I was falling asleep about halfway through because I was too tired, so I continued first thing in the morning. I adore how you've portrayed the characters, how hard Ico and Yorda had to work to finally get what they wanted, how you continued the environment already set up-really, it's just beautiful. Excellent job on this fic, and just...well..wow. |
Kit masters ke chapter 20 . 2/17/2006 Oh man I just lost about hour reading this. I guess I have to go to sleep. Oh, I got to say that was one heck of a story! I love it, anyway BYE and I hope you write more Yorda stuff. |
