Awwwwww, this was so sweet! I don't find much Stan/Dipper fluff online, and this was so cute! I love the kiss at the end and how Stan says it's just the painkillers. Classic Stan.

This fic was too real. I held my breath for most of it, but when the ending came it made me feel better because wow that was a roller coaster ride. My heart really went out to poor Dipper...falling off the roof is no laughing matter. And I think the way you wrote Stan responding to it was very realistic - he was afraid and unsure and didn't know what to do and tried his best to calm Dipper down throughout the whole ordeal while struggling to keep himself from breaking down - something uncharacteristic of him in normal circumstances. Him feeling extremely protective of Dipper and thinking that he was the one who hurt him and crying about it tore me up because you never really expect that kind of thing out of an old, gruff conman like him. But like he said...he already lost one family member, and he didn't want to lose another. That was a good line, by the way. It just goes to show how much he's come to care for Dipper and Mabel over the course of the summer.

Overall, this was a very...tragic twist to the end of the Stan's Tattoo short, but it had just the right amount of hurt/comfort to make it okay (I'm a huge sucker for that genre). It would be amazing if you wrote more Stan/Dipper bonding stories because Gravity Falls fanfiction is definitely lacking in that area. Hint hint.

This is so cute and lovely and I love Stan/Dipper bonding and... ohmygoodness, you have no idea how much I love this.

I loved this one-shot! I could just imagine this happening after that short it alludes to (which is hilarious by the way), but it also shows the relationship between Dipper and Grunkle Stan. Although this obviously takes place before "Not What He Seems" where we finally meet Stan's long-lost twin (Ford), it was great to see Stan acknowledge how he had lost his twin and could possibly lose his grand nephew as well.

Stan had been trying to toughen Dipper up because he reminds him of Ford when he was younger and a target for neighborhood bullies. But this also shows a vulnerable side of Stan that I would like to see more of. Underneath that lion exterior beats the heart of a pussycat.

Anyway, great work!

Dipper: What? I'm plenty manly.
Stan: Face it kid, you have no muscles, you smell like baby wipes and let's not forget that incident.
