I love it.

Well you know I love the flashbacks and I love Freddie, so a Freddie and family flashback is extra special. I love how they, too, adopted Steve as soon as they met him. All the love he got from Freddie and Cath's family didnt make up for what he had lost with his own, but it's lovely to see, and lovely to see him even now still appreciating it so much as he does, and did. I am sorry the Harts aren't coming! I am sorry for Steve, not for me. I get them not coming, but...sigh.

And I love how they see McRoll already too. Everybody did but Steve. I mean, Cath saw it, she just knew she was dealing with a delicate flower inside this Navy SEAL...and she loved him enough to let it be. Lovely story.

i really felt touched by this one-shot you have here and i really wanted ti cry when i got to the part of whose was one the phone and then boom . but the flashbacks really hit home and made since to me and then met more to me as a reader and as fan as well...

Love the flashback with Freddie and his family. Steve has so few people to support him and its nice to get some in sight into those people who were there for him. Thank you for a great story!

So sad that they won't come to the wedding. It's been 5 years since Freddie died after all. They can't avoid normal life and people he knew and was close to forever.

Great story! In a weird way, I'm kind of glad they aren't coming. It makes it more realistic that *everyone* can't come. And I love that you keep things REAL.

Loved the little flashbacks with Freddie & his parents. Love the way Catherine can read Steve & just knows what to say to lift his spirits. That's why they are so perfect together.

Even though Steve is disappointed, I know Freddie's family has a good reason for not attending. I like that Catherine is always right there to comfort him.
