xfel chapter 5 . 9/21/2019 That is one badass Taiyang. We so rarely see him in action. Also, great story. Would love to read more. |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/28/2019 Imagine raising your Mom's clone as older sis Yang |
fireball900 chapter 5 . 1/25/2019 You do character POVs really well |
shadow chapter 5 . 8/6/2017 I liked the chapter!1 |
exceptionaluser chapter 1 . 4/22/2017 This is written in second person. I am confused. |
Slen D. Man chapter 5 . 12/24/2016 You've managed to bake a potato into a pretty well written story. Gonna keep an eye on this one! (Also not enough N&D stories on here, so always good to have more.) |
Deadpan chapter 5 . 12/15/2016 I just discovered this. Your idea is cool, your humor is great, but I have to tell you that the second person tense (you) is awful for storytelling. |
BreadNotDead chapter 5 . 12/8/2016 The Nuts and Dolts pairing is one of the RWBY ships I find endearing, and adding a twist that Ruby is a clone of Summer certainly makes things more interesting and allows Ruby to relate to Penny over their "artificial status" more. This story has definitely got my attention! Looking forward to more chapters! |
Prince Pondincherry chapter 5 . 11/16/2016 "Keep doing that" was the perfect line for Qrow: an awesome thing to say, and so in-character that I could hear his voice in my head. That was a really awesome fight, despite how short it was. I really like any time we can see full-strength Hunters fighting, and with these in particular it was even more awesome than usual. I also like how the confrontation totally fit their canon characterizations (and I love all these people in canon), but also let me be entirely on Qrow and Taiyang's side. |
Prince Pondincherry chapter 4 . 11/16/2016 Qrow is my favorite character in this chapter, and he's not even present! |
Prince Pondincherry chapter 3 . 11/16/2016 I'm a little skeptical of Ruby being so bad at socializing if she moved in with a real family this young. Also, it kind of bugs me that Yang has such a hard time accepting Ruby. I know she's older than canon Yang was when she had to accept Ruby as a little sister, but being a sister seems so important to canon Yang that it's weird seeing a version annoyed by getting a sister. Makes sense, though. |
Prince Pondincherry chapter 2 . 11/16/2016 I don't quite understand why Ruby had to be created after Summer's death, but okay, whatever. The rest makes sense. I particularly like how close you stay to canon while also changing significant aspects of her personality. My first thought at the end was "oh, Cinder's going to get messed up now!", but then I remembered that she ran away in canon anyway, and there's not really any reason she can't do that here too. |
Wordlurker chapter 5 . 10/26/2016 I don't know how I haven't already put this story on my watchlist, but I'm doing so now. I like your characterization of James Ironwood, as well as that of Taiyang and Qrow, not to mention the whole "Ruby is Summer's clone" idea tickles my fancy. And of course, Penny being a main character helps too. I like the little android. Goddamn Vol.3 for killing her off. :/ |
Axel Fones chapter 5 . 10/24/2016 Damn, that was cool. I'll be hoping for more, whenever it might happen. |
Axel Fones chapter 4 . 10/24/2016 That was pretty amusing XD |
