I have to say that I STILL haven't read all your stories in VPU. Catching up on ones I know I can read in one sitting, when I don't have much time. Cause when I get to your longer ones, the way you write, I seriously can't put the story down until it's done... So, I actually have to have a solid chunk of time (that I won't miss too much sleep from... and yes, I have lost sleep cause I couldn't put one of your stories down) to read the longer ones.

Ah, it was so good to read something after immediately finishing The Untold Stories that has Phil Coulson ALIVE and BREATHING. That being said, I thought that this was brilliant. I'm very jealous of your writing, because you write everything out of order. I mean, you have to revert back to how they were before they became what they are now, move to how they were a few years down the road, and then make sure that you aren't making any mistakes throughout the way with any of your other stories and mini-series. I commend you for it! I bet that is a bit of a hassle. But you're obviously managing well enough. Everything about this was brilliant and the way that you wrote Natasha's one-year anniversary as a SHIELD-operative was great, because this is exactly what she would have wanted - a sparring match and a private dinner to herself. I thought it was great!

As this is one of your one shots, I'm going to do a live breakdown of my reactions as I read for this review. Mainly just cus I can. Also I'm on the mobile app so appologies for this wall of text style I'm suffering from! Anyway... Coulson! After having just finished Untold Stories, it is DAMN GOOD to see Phil again! awww the formation of Strike Team Delta this is adorable! Natasha has different levels of trust. I love that she doesn't yet realise how easily Clint will climb through all those levels and become so much to her yetfoetus babies all the way right here! (And I'm abusing the exclamation mark again I'm so sorry...) Hehehe Clint letting his mouth run awayan instant sign of a level of trust and companionship that Nat doesn't even realise, since he used to be pretty silent himself unless he was on comms with Phil. Awwwwwww he got her dinner! Fluffy feels everywhere! I was gonna make a comment about how sweet it was that he respected her space like that, then realised you'd done it yourself. Loved this!

Great story! While I still favor Clint, it's a nice mix up to read a story from completely Natasha's view. I didn't expect this story when I got on to read The Untold Story, so it's a nice surprise to a nice day. Never stop writing.
