The LA you showed is not the modern 2019 LA, but 2016. I kind of wanted to see Saderans fighting gangsters of various races and ethical groups. The story is good, I just thought of pointing out how LA is by a local resident in today's society. Though I guess 2016 was better than 2019. Still, gang activity was kind of high.

It's been a pet peeve of mine with Fanfics based on GATE using America as oppose to Japan the biggest 'Murica Fuck Yeah that can be given to the Empire isn't so much our military might, or technology. It's our ideals, the Decleration of Independence, the Constitution, etc, getting out amongst the population. While nearly all of the Empire's nobility would see America as nothing more then a rebellious colony that needs to be put back in it's place, the story of the American Revolution would frighten them because those thirteen rebellious colonies led by a farmer and a bunch of middle class commoners not only defied their Empire, and said they were equal to their king and nobles, they defied it and won, a story like that getting out in an Empire where Slavery is still practiced, and classes are rigidly structured would start to get the people wondering: "If the Americans did it then we could as well."
