I. absolutely. love. this. I love how obsessed Madge is with Gale, her infatuation was pretty innocent but for 'normal society' standards, it is a bit unsettling (humorous to readers though, heh). I love that you paired her unsettling gaze with a style that would definitely cause ripples among the student body (and it does quite fit her character well). And how oblivious she was to people's condemnation of her. This Madge really did live in her own world. Which is why I was disheartened when she changed her looks. But I suppose after hearing your all-time-favorite-crush say those words and especially at that age, sometimes you go through a period of reconstructing yourself. But I'm glad that you didn't make Gale fall head over heels for her once she did because not only would that have been out of place but it sends the wrong message that one must change one's physical appearance to be accepted.

Although I do have to wonder about Madge's strong obsession, why does she like him so much? At this point, I surmise it was more for shallow reasons although she never really ...well, mentioned her reasons. Crushes usually start off that way to be fair but I hope the basis for it will eventually be something more than that.

I really appreciate that you're keeping the characters consistent though. I have read enough stories to really appreciate that trait in writing, trust me. Madge is still her quirky, awkward social self and seeing her reason through that she did in fact kinda-sorta followed through Delly's seduction plan was so funny and true to her character in this story. Gale is just confused as all heck and Delly seems to be a riot and Katniss? Katniss is just trying to be a good, supporting friend even though in her own way, she's not a typical student either so I can honestly say that I am extremely looking forward to the next chapter.

This story is great, and hilarious! I like how you have her taking Gale down a peg or two, he needs it. Please update again soon!
