couple minor things: Simon spent about a year in the Schnee's service. not 6 months. and the weapon is called Umbra Vigilans not Viglanis.

As for the fight the lack of armour and the limited move set that Drake has would probably be more fatal than any arrogance and lack of stamina Simon suffers (stamina being something he has in spades). cuts and thrusts would likely be blunted by Simon's superior armour thus largely negating the sacrificing of Aura on Simon's part and Simon changing tact with flashbangs or smoke and going for a brawling-grappling type encounter when both are tired and exhausted would throw him off due to his inexperience. Any disengagement as well as the beginning would be met by a hail of Flechettes or frag grenades that would whittle down a person's Aura swiftly regardless of a person's speed.

It would be a close match to be sure, but a lack of armour without extra Aura to compensate would not end well against someone who has both and more experience as well as ranged firepower.

Know this might be way down the road and would need Cody as well, but what about Black Fist vs. Red Hand?

Two OC Organizations battling it out

You guys did great, kind of miss the fights and sorry to see them go but I can totally get why they would be difficult to keep up.

Would like to see another OC vs OC battle, introduced some excellent stories.

As surprised as I was by the outcome, it's good to see my beautifully sadistic psychopath come through in the end. As you guys said, she's quite flawed in terms of a fair fight. How fitting that her victory came from just not fighting fair and using her her cunning and wits. I personally thought the fight itself could have been longer as there were so many options of how they fought each other but still really enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

This fight was pretty good, but I agree with the previous reviewer. To me, a big part of these fights is building up each character. It helps readers such as myself get a better grasp on what the strengths and weaknesses of each fighter are, and who might win based upon those facts. Plus, these are OCs, and unless people have read the stories they come from, they have no reason to connect to these characters outside of whatever information you provide. As a result, the bios play an important role in filling the reader in on who each participant is.

Looking forward to the next one, I would keep the biographies for at least the OC fighters so we have some background. Adds a bit more detail that seemed a bit lacking in this one.

Yes, please contact Xera Stark and ask her about her OCs. I truly believe your doing a disservice by not looking into her stuff. She's one of the main people who got me writing and one of the first to ever use an OC of mine. Also I've been dying to get Fidelis in the ring with her boy Soul-Slasher.

I mean cannon vs OC wasn't really what this series is about.

I'd say just stick to OCs

A fair conclusion, i do wonder how Edward will do in the tournament finals on a flat surface with nowhere to hide and no tactical superiority to exploit

I don't think I've ever heard Joel and how he works described in so grand of terms...Icarus, damn I never would've thought of it like that. Definitely going to delve more into the mental strain aspect in the future cause of this.

My favorite parts actually when you describe the flaws in each fighter, Fidelis being reckless, Joel being a situational wild card, it gives them weaknesses and shows trends which even the creators might not realize until someone points them out and in the end makes them better characters for it.

No one wants to read a character who can't be beaten, other then comedically(looking at you OPM you beautiful show you), but Fidelis throws himself in and opens himself up to losing cause his greatest enemy is himself. That's awesome!
