| WingedKatt chapter 6 . 8/24/2019 Not rushing Nick and Judy's feelings is definitely hard. I couldn't resist in my own story, but that has more to do with the circumstances they find themselves in, as well as Nick not being as emotionally stunted as a lot of fanfics have him. He's had some good times in the past to somewhat balance out the trauma he's faced. So even though he has his heart barricaded behind thick emotional walls, Judy's able to come in with a wrecking ball. But even though they're feelings develop quickly (timewise), they actually develop over a lot chapters. Anyways, I'm enjoying your story and seeing how their relationship progresses. And yeah, bigotry and prejudice don't go away over night. It's something that has to be dealt with and slowly overcome (hopefully). |
| WingedKatt chapter 4 . 8/23/2019 Your story was recommended to me (I'm surprised I hadn't found it myself with my Zootopia searches), and I'm highly enjoying it. I just started uploading a Wildehopps fanfiction of my own and your story is one of the (very) few I found that has the beginning similar to mine. I start in the pit display and have Nick taking Judy home after the hospital, too, as that just makes sense to me that he'd open his home up to her seeing as she's injured, needs help getting around, and has no place to stay. Nick and Judy's feelings come on pretty quickly in my story too, and again, like in your story, a lot of has to do with the close physical contact they find with each other (coupled with their firm trust of each other and the strong emotional bond they formed in the movie). Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading more and checking out the sequels. ) |
