Great job, you really show the anxiety for this mission and from Sun as well, he's also one of my favorite charachters. Hoping for lots of fights, good work. And maybe more descriptions.

Interesting take. This is honestly the first crossover I've read, because I normally avoid those. But the fact that you are replacing the characters rather than have them do cross-worlds interaction sits well with me. I doddled the idea of doing something similar myself, removing the aura/semblance/magical aspect and playing on what I feel they most represent. I.e. Ruby a sniper/ Weiss as a specialist of some sort/ Yang as a demo/heavy type/ and Blake as a infiltrator.

But yes, good work and hope to see more.

Yeah it's great Team RWBY is back together, but I wish they did something with it. The last couple episodes were pretty much blue ball city. Rematch between Yang and Mercury? Nope. Qrow doing cool stuff? Nope. Weiss putting up more of a fight? Death fake out. At least Cinder got defeated for a bit.
