storm master, that isn't the cause, memories are formed by electricity shooting off in the brain in different patterns. the only thing the heart has to do with the brain is pumping blood so that can't be it. I don't really have an explanation as to why he has no memories. maybe its because of the teigu itself. i have a theory on what happened though, when the teigu took it's place in his heart he actually killed him and the teigu is now keeping him alive and acting like a normal heart,

I have a guess as to why Lucius/Faust does not remember anything. Because of his imperial arms taking out his heart, it must have messed with his memories, making him not recall who he was and if he had a family. I can't wait to see what happens when Najenda leaves the empire. I hope he goes with her and Luudbock since they were the ones to help him. Then again, Budo seems to be like a fatherly figure to him so that could be a deciding factor.
