This was a very interesting story! I hope to see a meeting between the two in the manga for a long time.
Great was also the marine report at the end. That is something I could see happening. Too many marines in this manga seem to be stupid or corrupted

It might not have been your intention but, you have successfully made me super hyped for the (hopefully) eventual meeting between Luffy and Dragon in the manga. I only hope it will be as great as this (but Oda is sure to surprise us anyway so I'm not too worried).
A fun read from start to end, and I liked that Luffy asked about his mother and that you didn't come up with a random story for it. I love how Luffy rejects the alliance but tells Dragon he just has to asks and he'll come. I love Sabo's reaction to Luffy at the end!

AHHH! So I've finally finished this after weeks of it sitting on my computer because I'm a multitasker who gets caught up in other things like a dumbass, BUT: I loved every second I did spend reading this! It was very long (or at least felt that way), but it was SO interesting, and I loved everything! I caught the 'Inside the Dragon's Den' reference (or rather, thought it felt SUPER familiar, but couldn't place it, but then your A/N made me go, "THAT'S IT!"), and it was so awesome! I loved how Luffy was so set on getting Sanji back (of course!), and having Sabo be so concerned about LUFFY when his boss was there, too, is hilarious! Loved having Robin and Dragon talk like that, too, and her adoration for Luffy was SO cute! The little footsteps around Luffy's mom is something that's bugged me for YEARS, ever since I started watching the series, and it did that here, too, but in a better way, in a way I didn't even see coming, haha, so it worked great, I think! Wasn't expecting that! Overall, was an awesome fic, and oyur emotional writing and description skills (especially with Ace and the war and Luffy's feelings about them) are AMAZING! SO sad, yet so freaking awesome! Can't wait for more from you! Rock on!
