As a diehard Maura fan, I firmly believe in both her perfectionism as well as her ability to compartmentalize, so I don't think Jane would have defeated her or distracted her so badly. It especially seems strange that the professional dancer is shown up so easily by the amateur; no matter how "naturally athletic" or "talented" Jane is, she spends most of her time as a cop, so it would be hard for her to be better than someone who likely spends multiple hours a day practicing and learning new moves.

That being said, still fairly well written. And I love dancing and the atmosphere and mood a la the Step Up series, which is probably why I came back to this.

I might like to see this continued, though not necessarily for the smut, more for their reactions to each other afterwards and to learn more about these versions of Maura and Jane.
Also, sorry you're having to write on a phone. That sucks; I know it well. :P

Another chapter would be nice. This one was fun and sexy but no conversation between the two. I'm a sucker for first meetings that lead to rizzles. Thank you for sharing. And may you write more to this little ditty.
