This is probably one of the best OC‘s I‘ve ever read, I love how your not just mindlessly recounting episodes and I‘d really like How much detail (and probably research) you’ve put into this fic. I see you haven’t posted in quite a while now so this is probably a pipe dream but it would be great to find out what happens next!

i absolutely love this. i just found it but i like where it's going and what you've done with it and i'm curious to see how lucan gets along (or doesn't) with the doctor as time goes on. so i hope you update this soon! :) i'm eagerly awaiting more

This was a nice introspection chapter, although the one thing that really annoyed me here was the continued confused use of "where" instead of "were". "Where" regards to location; just a simple reminder.

Glorious indeed. (However I'm thinking maybe after Martha, because then the Doctor's had the whole deal with the Master and such already done and over with. And maybe some leftover angstiness from that could be stirred up...? ;D)

I truly and genuinely love your writing style. It flows neatly and is never uninteresting, even when describing the seemingly most boring and uninteresting parts. I rarely come across works of fiction like this and I absolutely have to give you a giant round of applause. *clap clap*

Oh my god. I think this is one of the first decent Time Lord OCs I've found. Ever. It's great. Absolutely great. Lucan is very realistic and an interesting and likeable character - I say likeable, I mean character-wise, not actual person wise. I think if he and I were in the same room, I'd find myself at odds with him xD

But, he's very interesting, which I don't find often in OCs. Really, I don't normally read OC fics. But I decided, 'why the hell not?' and gave yours a try. Boy, I'm glad I did.

I only started reading this about twenty minutes ago, but the way you write this is so engaging I'm already hooked. I love Lucan and his already rocky relationship with the Doctor; it was so believable, especially with how the Doctor's shock translated in how he treated him. Lucan's commentary is such fun to follow, too; I'm already anticipating your next chapter even though you just posted your new one less than an hour ago.
And now I'll imitate a stalker and go see what else you've posted on here...
