I like the insights that you show us into what Sam and Dean are feeling after Dean gets revived. Dean hasn't been possessed like Sam has, so he doesn't have a frame of reference. I like the way you described that sense of things being slightly wrong and out of place. The Winchesters don't normally discuss their feelings, especially when they are feeling vulnerable, so I can see why Sam wouldn't mention the soul-eater taking possession of Dean while he was in the nest. Just another circumstance that Sam will shoulder alone. I can see why Sam wouldn't want to play rock, paper, scissors anymore too. Nice story.

They are as tender as nurses, never lovers. It seemed to me with each season their bond becomes more natural, acting or in life, the trust fluid, observed only by the crew about them. Brothers like David and Jonathan.

I needed more after watching this episode, too, and your fic added perfectly to these scenes. I love how you write Sam coming to understand that he put a lot of responsibility on himself with his comment to Dean, and how he's not quite doing things "right" because he didn't fully understand the responsibilities of the new role he'd accepted.

Bet it did feel weird getting back into his own body.
Good point that Dean didn't think it was all that minor to see Sam, dead. Cause - NOT SAM! - came screaming through (that I saw) Dean's head.
Also interesting about using Dean's blood for both sigils, to make sure it worked. And no way was Dean going to be able to bring any of Sam's blood into the nest with him.
