Oh my giddiness. This is one of the most touching fics I’ve ever read. You don’t make it all about the tragedy, so the reader feels bittersweet after everything they go through together, and there is real romantic development between them. Keep writing!

I started with a smile (almost forgot it was was a cancer/character death fic), and the smile became bittersweet as my heart finally caught up with what my brain was reading, by the end of this wonderful little story, I had tears tracing down my cheeks.
