Reading this fic now is kind of hilarious, given that RWBY now actually has a character that went by the Grimm Reaper.

You know, Remnant is more or less becoming Ron's world now. Which means technically, the next time around, Earth is a valid destination for Ron again. Since it's no longer 'his' world. Even if it's where he was originally from. I'm imagining the duo popping back in each world the moment after that world's death of them after dying in the other one. Kind of shaky reasoning though to get out of the 'can't return'. Ron didn't really 'give up his life' though. He just died in the process of saving someone else. At least, some circumstances he'd survive. It's not like he dived onto a grenade. Pushing someone away from an explosion could very well be survivable. Of course, Ron's feelings on the matter do kick it back into counting regardless, 'cause he considers what he did as giving up his life to save Kim.

I suppose depending on exact phrasing the contract might not exclude Ron making it back after being revived. Just that, on revival, he's not sent directly back. Though it's not like he could tell anyone about that particular loophole unless he wants to get reaped.

I don't know why, but I kept expecting Death to turn out to be Grim from Billy and Mandy. Good fic.

Not gonna lie. I came in to this expecting some chuunibyou shit, bad spelling and grammar, and horrible attempts at comedy.
But I'll be damned if this wasn't a great little story. It was quirky, funny, enjoyable, and just all around a beautiful little one shot that you should be extremely proud of.

Never have I been forced to beg for the continuation of a story. And yet here I am writing my second review here on fanfiction begging you to turn this into an actual story. That fact that Jaune and Ron are two peas in a pod only makes the premise of this one-shot even greater. The two most badical blondes back from death to fight the evils of Remnant and completely alter the course of history. Could this idea get any greater? And hey who's to say that Grim hasn't given the blonde duo some extra gifts for being the most entertaining people that Grim ever came across. Say for example Jaune being able to summon a black scythe not unlike Spirit's , from Soul Eater, Death Scythe Form and Ron being given the ability to analyze any weapon he comes across so he could turn the Lotus Blade into that weapon. And so I will state it once more, this creation of yours to far to great to not be allowed the opportunity to grow and flourish or flounder under the guided hand of an author as great as yourself

Can't say as I agree that they could be the same person, but can see why one could think that. I certainly think they would be thick as thieves, as they do share more or less the same morals and have similarly unusual ways of thinking.

And truly, I wish you would write a sequel to this. You've got a wonderful plot here waiting around the corner. Ron and Jaune's adventures in Remnant (provided their memories are intact - and there's no reason it shouldn't be) could be potentially epic.

Please make some kind of continuation of this. It sounds way too funny to just be a one-shot. Just imagine Ron Stoppable trying to survive in Remnant. Heh, sorry, got a bit carried away there. Super-cool oneshot

This was an interesting way to do a character comparison, though I will admit to be a little confused as to the ending. .
The Grim Adventures reference was good too.

Ron and Jaune actually have personalities that are very similar.
this is one of the few rwby crossover ideas that seem good ... to me atleast

That was awesome! Would love to see a continuation of this in the future, even it's just a series of drabbles and/or one shots.

I always liked Ron and while I wouldn't say they're the same person, he and Jaune may be cut from the same cloth.

Also, consider moving this to the crossover section as you did bring another character into the fic.
