I have no problem reading about mad/evil scientist Jaune. Sure, why not.

But i dont understand why he seems to be a master scientist in like a dozen different fields.

He was doing something with quantum physics and managex to create a wormhole. He's a genius with electrical appliances to the point he can create a 3d printer and motherboards from scratch. He's growing clones. He's remodeling airplanes.

To top it off he apparently wants to redesign the police system for a city he knows nothing about.

The guy's seventeen. No matter how much of a genius he may be, he shouldnt be this well versed in so many different fields. It doesnt make sense, and makes him come across as super generic.

Lol even when things start to be looking up it seems that all they do is lose lose lose lose... It's kinda funny

Whow... That story went very dark very quickly... Maybe think of adding Drama or Tragedy or Angst to the genre?

This was... interesting.

Criticisms and good parts.

Had quite a neat plot. Interesting idea.

My criticisms are many. Don't get offended. I offer more criticisms than good points most of the time.

Firstly, this was... confusing to follow. I barely have any idea what's going on, and you just inserted random points then and there. It's like you were trying to make a classic RWBY fic, and then decided to toss in Doctor Who crap in. Half the time while I was reading this, I was wondering what the hell was going on.

Secondly... Jaune's character is... interesting. In canon, he's an emotionally dense, but loyal leader with a decent hand at strategy, and needs quite a bit of work with the sword. In this, from what I managed to piece together, he's a mad scientist who created the Faunus, is morally grey, and is quite the hypocrite in some cases.

Overall it's a 'Meh' from me. Not good, not terrible.

I'm so curious about what is going to happen next.

What just happened is you made him a sucker for girls. Fucking pathetic. She needs a good beating because she is an diotic beserker. The was no need for him to give away what he did or heal her aura does that just fine.

1. This is... whut?
Journal 1 : "...and to the outskirts of some kind of village."
Journal 2 : "If this world was inhabited by only non-intelligent animals..."

2. Having mechanical tools like 3 different set of screwdrivers in your work bag is not weird, however bringing foods and extra clothes IS weirder. Even more so, if you bring that bag to experiment room.

3. "Civilizations generally flourished on river banks,..." Correct, back in sword & arrow age. Since amazing discoveries called water wells, bore drills, water pipes, etc. river is one of the furthest thing to be connected with water sources in modern humans' common sense.

4. Is Jaune here a biologist too? Because study of plants and animals are completely different field with physics. If so, then he's even more amazing than Tony Stark. By the way, how old is he?

5. Don't forget, Remnant's moon is shattered.

6. Someone is carrying dust? like, he's dirty or something?
