Wow, that was a deep chapter. It's hard to think about, but there must have been so many instances throughout the years where Merlin had to just sit on his hands. I can't even imagine how he'll be during the Crusades, god. I can't wait to see what you come up with though! And I will for sure go check out your story, I'm sure it's amazing. Of course, if you're writing it, it will be.

Oooh the Hallows! Yes I absolutely got that, and ohmygoodness I really hope that Merlin doesn't use the stone! I don't remember from TROM if he did or didn't use it, and I'm pretty sure he didn't...? But if he DOES...i get the feeling that's not going to help his depression at all. I feel like he'd only feel more out of place, more alone, and more like he should be dead along with all the rest of his friends from Camelot...Don't use it, Merlin ! But anyway. Terrific chapter! I'm so glad Merlin is starting to be interested in the goings-on of the world around him, and that he's started going to school and sword fighting. Hah, Merlin's getting in shape! Good. I'm really looking forward to when Merlin meets the brothers and all that...welp, we've got a lot to look forward to. I hope! Well I hope you do find some time to write between your job and everything else...but don't worry, I'll still stick around no matter how long it all, updating irregularly is sort of my middle name...so I can't luck with everything, and I hope to see an update soonish!

Hey, I enjoyed the chapter with Hogsmeade and Merlin reintegrating with society. Look forward to more chapters with him becoming more open and exploring the world.

I have a recommendation regarding one of Merlin's travels. He could become part of King Charlemagne. Getting to France would be a chapter all together but I can see Merlin being part of King Charlemagne plans to create the first empire in western Europe since the Roman empire. I think you can have a couple of chapters with the start and the end of the Carolingian Empire. You can make this as where Merlin became more invested in politics and a pretty decent fighter.

With what King Charlemagne did is something his destiny demanded and Merlin failed at. Helping unite or forming an Empire would be something like atoning for past mistakes and bring peace to Merlin.

But this is just my suggestion. You can use something completely different.

Very nice! Thank goodness Merlin is finally beginning to wake up and kind of get out of his depression...he needs to live his life again. He needs to get back his sense of humor. ;)

Btw, I'd definitely be interested if you decided to do another story about Eugene and all that. Sounds fun ;) Speaking of other stories, I'm totally beginning to feel like after reading this story for a good while, I'm going to need to re-read its predecessor. Just to see all the references again and all that fun stuff :)

Anyways. Great chapter! Your writing is wonderful as ever. I guess Merlin is done with Hogwarts for now, but it'll be interesting to see him move on to new and more exciting things. Crazy days. Another great chapter. The game of thrones reference was Tormund of the free folks. I laughed when I read about the origin of the motto of hogwarts. Nice thinking. Now that Hogwarts is founded, what will be next?
Although I haven't seen the latest episode, I have read about it in the telegraph and Forbes.
I was so sad about Hodor's death. And to think that, Bran was responsible for Willis' muteness! Seriously, GRRM knows how to utilize his brain.
I am very much looking forward to the next episode. I hope we'll find more about Lianna and Rhaeger this week. I am a great fan of Rhaeger Targaryen and I despise all the Baratheons except Shireen of course.

Great, I loved it... but if you pay attention, Hogsmade was created in the 1400, I think. I am not sure, but I think Hermione said something about that.
