This is awesome. I'm adopted and so much media, even the fosters, tells me I'm supposed to somehow miss the parents I didn't have in favor of my parents. Now, I'm hella lucky. My parents were my first foster parents and started visiting me while I was in the nicu. Im so like them that I was the child who asked "are you sure I'm adopted?" rather than "am I adopted?" But still I'm told that I should care about my "real mom" more than being passively curious even though my mom is the one who has raised my medically needy ass? One day, maybe, but if I search my mom will be part of that. Because she's my mom and she deserves that. So thanks for pointing out stef and Lena deserve it too.

I loved the descriptions of the pictures. I could see each of those memories and moments frozen in time. Very sweet. I really liked what Stef said to Ana; no one's perfect. But, hopefully, we learn from our mistakes. They make us better people.
