In EU I tried looking for any real evidence of the whole kidnapper stuff. Even the citations on the wiki are wrong. To the best of my understanding youngling is anyone who isn't an adult, and the reason Anakin was refused was because they knew nothing of him and Qui-Gonn had a bad track record. There was some reference in one of those in-universe anti-jedi propaganda pieces on the website or something referencing their legal authority to remove children from their parent or guardian, but that's nothing special, literally every government has that kind of authority.

well this was a very nice and unexpected treat, getting a big 7 chapter update was really nice to see it also made me fall in love with this story again, so glad to see you haven't given up on the story, i cant wait to read more and see where the story goes, hope the next update isn't as big of a wait. i just love vestara shes so cool cant wait to see more interactions with her and ben and possibly some of the other jedi, like luke but that could be a long ways away. hope to see more soon , thanks for the great story.

I look forward to seeing what Vestara and Varen do when the reach Mandalore, and I hope that Ben and Vestara get back together by the end of this story. I can’t believe that there’s a plague on Mandalore, in addition to the nanovirus that Caedus and his Moffs unleashed at the end of the Second Galactic Civil War. I wonder who Vestara will speak to when she reaches Mandalore. I can’t wait for the next update. May the Force and Iluvatar be with you always, fellow EU and Ben/Vestara lover.
