The chivalric orders was a bad idea IMHO. 30000 thousand people under the command of the Crown prince, is kinda unbelievable. Kings landing has a population of 500k, that should have been accounted for.

Honestly, most of this first chapter is just a huge eyeroll. And if you think the crown prince has the ability to remove Renly as heir and instate Stannis instead, you really just do not understand anything about politics. Not only is there not such a thing as an "active" crown prince, there is no fucking way Robert would let him do such a thing.
